Hey everyone!
So i got all your emails and they are all so wonderful i
love reading them and hearing about all the cool things you guys have been up
to thousands of miles away. Thanks for sending me the Sunday Program and sorry
i couldn't send you a new picture to put on there in stead of that one i took a
while ago. for some reason the computers here in la spezia can't recognize my
memory card but ill keep trying to find a way to send 'em. Hahaha Grandma is so
cute i love here so much she makes me laugh :) WOW thats awesome that you know
a guy that is in the same ward as Anziano Marin! What a small world, im
definitely going to have to let him know that's awesome!
So this week has been pretty good, we have had a good amount
of lessons compared to what it was before and our numbers in almost every
aspect are increasing! So we are really having a good time here in La Spezia.
this last sunday we had 3 investigators come to church which was AMAZING for
here in La Spezia! Anziano Marin and i are having a great time and it's only
getting better every day.
So yesterday we went to a little place called FIRENZE!!! We
had a huge Zone Meeting and a bunch of missionaries were there and a i got to
see a bunch of people and catch up a little. But the best part was that we got
to hear Elder Tishada who is a member of the quorum of the Seventy! He gave an
AMAZING talk about how we can triple the amount of investigators by always
asking the people we teach if they know anyone who 1) we could pray for and 2)
we can meet and talk to about our message. he also gave a lot more
inspirational thoughts that i wrote down in my journal.
After the conference we HAD to go sight seeing for a little
because we had about an hour and a half until the train left. so we went to go
see the Duomo and i got a couple pictures of that and then we went to a nice
tie shop where i got 2 pretty nice ties for 4 euro and a sweet scarf for 5 euro
(scarfs are way fashionable in italy by the way. And if you dont wear one in
the winter people think something must be wrong with you lol). But it was way
cool to walk the streets of Firenze! The only bad part was that i didnt have
enough time to go see the Statue of David which was a major bummer but maybe if
im lucky ill be able to go back one day here on my mission or maybe even serve
there!
Well, i miss you guys a lot! I am having a blast here on my
mission and im so grateful for all of you and everyone else in my life that has
helped me to make this wonderful decision to serve. cant wait to talk to you
next week! I love you guys, take care!
