Ciao! Well sounds like you guys had a pretty crazy
week! Wow the Lexus looks DESTROYED! I'm so glad to hear you weren't hurt
too bad Dad. I am super jealous that you guys are going duck hunting (that
would be so funny seeing buddy trying to retrieve a duck hahaha)! I see so many
ducks here in Italy and they all are asking to be put out of their misery but i
can't do anything about it lol. Well this past week, surprisingly, has actually
been pretty slow but still really great. Last Wednesday we went to Lecco and i
played soccer with the Anziani there and then took some cool pictures and then
headed back to Brescia. Throughout this week we have been trying to find more
investigators by doing street contacting, house to house and pass by's of less
active members or people that used to take lessons from the missionaries in the
past. Out of all that we got one new investigator lol. But i am completely
satisfied with that one to say the least :) She is a very spiritual person and
respects all other religions even if she doesn't necessarily agree with them. I
love that about her and i wish everybody had that same mentality.
So the language is getting better and better but there is
still so much to learn ha. Italian is a much more difficult language than i had
ever imagined! I have really gained an appreciation for the Italian language
since i have been here. So last week i went and got an italian suit and it
ended up costing 235 euro wich is about $300. BUT, I got a HUGE discount on it.
The suit used to cost 900 euro..... $1200! Am i good or what? it is a dark grey
and is the sweetest suit ever!!! I really wish you guys were here to see it! I
havent got it back from the tailor yet but ill send you a picture when i
do.
