This past week has been absolutely wonderful. We have had
really spiritual lessons with our investigators i love it! It finally cooled
down here in Brescia and the weather is PERFECT. last sunday i tried out my new
suit and got 9 complements (not counting or anything) hahah. So the other night
we went over to a members house who was wondering if she shouldn't go to church
anymore because she and the bishop kind of got into an arguement and she was
released of all her callings. So all four of us went and bought a little cake
and brought it over to her house and sat down and just talked to her and see
how she is doing. She was VERY sad and told us how she doesnt know if she
should go to church because all the members will talk badly about her behind
her back and what not. So we had a really good conversation with her and at the
end we gave her a blessing of comfort. I was so glad we went over there and got
to do that for her, she really just needed someone to let her vent to and give
her a little encouragement.
I'M GETTING TRANSFERED!!! I'm goint to be serving in LA
SPEZIA! You guys have to look it up it is proprio GORGEOUS. Anziano Allen was
freakin out because that is one of his dream cities to serve in haha but he gets
to go to Modena which is also beautiful and it's where the Ferrari Factory is!
I'm so excited, i can't wait to go. We are leaving tomorrow morning to Milano
and then from there i take a train to La Spezia and meet my companion there. I
guess one thing that is tough for me is leaving my investigators behind,
especially one in particular who has been making so much progress and is the
sweetest lady ever. I never thought it would be this hard and sad to have to
say goodbye and have faith that the next missionaries will keep them interested
and on the path to baptism but i have a good feeling with her she is
brava.
So i got all the sweet pictures of Dallin! Those are really
cool, especially the one where he is saving the goal! Mom you asked what i do
on a regular day so here it is: In the morning i wake up at 6 30 and do push
ups bisep curls and more trisep workouts. Then i shower and get ready for the
day and study from 9 until 11. at 11 30 we go out of the apartment usually
around centro because there are a lot of people walking around to do street
contacting. then we come back for pranzo (lunch) at 1 and that goes until 3.
Then we usually have a lesson planned for right after pranzo and afterward if
we dont have another lesson planned for a while we will either do area book or
we will pass by less active members. Then we come home at 9 and make a little
something to eat and hang out or read. then we go to bed at 10 30. Its sounds
super boring i know but there are always things that happen throughout the day
that make every day a new experience. We really have had so many great times
here in Brescia, I'm going to miss all of the friendships that i have made and
the sweet people that i have met but at the same time i can't wait to make more
memories and meet new people in La Spezia!
So the language is going great! Most of the time i can hold
a solid conversation but there still are a lot of times where i have no idea
what they said so there is much to learn ancora. It is crazy to see how much i
have already learned though in these 3 months here and to see the Lord's hand
in it all. I am so grateful to have this wonderful opportunity to serve Him and
bring more of God's children unto this wonderful Gospel. Thank you all so much
for all that you have done for me to get me to this point in my life. I can't
thank you enough. I love you all so much and cant wait to hear from you next
week and hopefully ill have some cool new pictures of La Spezia for you guys :)
Ciao Ciao!
