Ciao everyone!

Oh i also liked the picture of dallin melissa and buddy! yes i did notice dallins tie haha i havent ween that tie in forever! where did you find it? Oh also you should send me a picture of buddy where he doesnt look like skinny little rat hahaha. Ok, so this past week has been great! the language is really coming along and im finally to the point where i can have good long conversations with people and feel comfortable speaking! This week we couldnt get many lessons with our investigators and also less active members but the ones that we did have were VERY spiritual lessons. Last Sunday was a really cool miracle that happened to us. One of our investigators hasnt been able to meet with us in a while which had been very depressing because she has had so much progress and even a baptismal date. Well last thursday we invited her to church and she said she would try but she wasnt sure if she could make it. but then we totally forgot to remind her satuday and sunday morning and when Sunday came and we went into the chapel for sacrament she was sitting down in the front waiting for sacrament to start! It was her first time in church and she said she LOVED it! There were some really good talks that were given by the members and i could really feel the spirit strong.

The other morning i was reading in Alma 38 through 41 and i think that there is a great message that comes from the story in those chapters. Its talking about The King of the Lamanites taking over the kingdom and wanting to go to war with the Nephites solely to take more land and become the ruler over everyone. At the time Moroni is the leader of the Nephites and it talks about how much of a spiritual giant he is and how strong and unwavering his faith is in God. He knew that the lamanites were going to attack his people and even though the nephites never wanted to go to war the knew that they would have to in order to protect their wives, children, freedom and religion. Moroni devised a genious plan to build a huge dirt wall around their entire cityand leave only one entrance for the lamanites to come through if they wanted to attack the nephites. And when the lamanites, with an army much larger than that of the nephites, came to attack them they saw that they could not win if they were to go to war with the nephites, so they decided to go to another city of the nephites that was maybe less protected and take them over. But Moroni knew that they would do this long before it even happened and he informed all the other cities of nephites to also build a giant wall to protect them from their enemies. When the lamanites went to the other city and saw that they were also fortified they were very depressed, but they went to war anyway. In the end of the battle there were over 1000 lamanites that had fallen but not a single nephite had died. some were injured but none has lost their life.

I was really touched by this story when i read it and i think we can really benefit from this story. We need to have faith in Jesus Christ and put our Trust in Him and our Heavenly Father and build up a "Wall of Faith" that is unwavering so that our enemy (satan) can not penetrate it, even with his strongest army of temptations. It may not always be easy and we might have to endure a lot, but if we perservere to the end and endure it well we will not fall.

So today i am writing this letter super early because right now i am actually in LECCO with some other missionaries and we are about to go play soccer!!! afterward im going to get some really cool pictures so next wednesday ill show those to you guys! I love you all so much and cant wait to hear from you next week! Stai retti i miei amici!
